All my life I have loved houses, my sister and I would beg Mum and Dad to stop every time we saw an open home. As we got older my sister and I would visit open homes just for the fun of it and for inspirational ideas. Now days I make the homes I like and the designs I’ve had in my imagination for years, finally come to fruition.
All around the world white is synonymous for its simplicity, clarity and cleanity. I love simple minimalist design, clean lines and open spaces. I will often see a photo of a room and in my mind I see what the rest of the house looks like or what I imagine it would be like. This is the source for many of my designs.
My latest range ‘Fortitude’ is no exception. Recently a friend sent me a bunch of house designs pics, I choose one room from each design and designed each new home around that one room.
They are ‘Lift Your Spirits’ ‘Retribution’ and ‘Attainment’
You can see them inworld http://slurl.com/secondlife/Dreamy%20Isle/175/129/22 or purchase from the market place 🙂
Pitsch Parx wrote an interesting article in the latest issue of Prim Perfect (pg130) on the knock down discounts of once over priced prefabs in Second life. This article made me think about my own ever changing range of homes. I’ve often pondered the idea of a discount sale, but out of respect for the customers who have purchased at full price, I’ve never had a sale at my sim. After reading this article and getting some perspective on how people may feel, I’m so glad I never did.
Retribution is part of the new Fortitude range at Designer Prims, this is large two level home, with a seperate bedroom and bathroom wing and an addition bedroom/office on the second level. Lots of outdoor space makes this the perfect setting for those outdoor summer parties. See inworld here http://slurl.com/secondlife/Dreamy%20Isle/175/129/22
Retribution is the first in 3 new designs coming soon to Designer Prims, this home has a distinctly Mediterranean feel. It’s large, multi leveled, open plan with 2 wings, 2 bedrooms (or 1 and an office), 2 bathrooms and lots and lots of outdoor living space. There is a large pool to the back full of amazing animations and of course it has my innovative texture change menu for walls, floors, decking and accents. The shell will be around 124 prims, so nice and low. Currently undergoing testing and adding lighting……………….Release will be this Saturday
Industrial Grunge……or not, you can make this home as pristine and new or as old and grunge as you’d like by using the texture change menu for walls, floors, grafitti and accents. Change the windows from industrial broken glass to open or closed blinds or sashed windows. See inworld here http://slurl.com/secondlife/Dreamy%20Isle/175/129/22
My earlier post has not been retracted it has simply been made private, of course this doesn’t take away the hurtful allegations made on another media site. But as I have withdrawn from that site in the hope that this will finally be over, it seems counterproductive to continue it here. And all of this has taken a heavy toll on me.
I have said what I needed to say.
